Dear Mr. Knighton:

This letter is to inform you of the addition of Mr. Paul J. McGuire to the APS Corporate Staff for PVNGS.

Mr. McGuire was hired as a full time APS employee effective August 15, 1984 and reports directly to me in an advisor capacity.

Mr. McGuire's function is to provide assistance and consultation to APS corporate management in nuclear management.

Attached please find a copy of the resume'or Mr. McGuire.

Because of his extensive background and experience in managing the operation of nuclear facilities, I believe that the addition of Mr. McGuire significantly enhances our organization by bringing nuclear oper'ational perspectives to our corporate staff. I believe this is a positive move for, the successful operation of Palo Verde. It is my intention that such an advisor will be used on the Palo Verde corporate staff until we gain additional experience in direct nuclear operation management.
