This letter supplements our letter dated April 4, 1979 (AEP:NRC:00117) which transmitted to you Amendment No. 83 to the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). One of the changes described therein is: the removal of part-length control rods from Unit 1 and the installation of permanent anti-1otation devices on the part length control rod drive mechanisms and the replacement of the temporary anti-rotation devices in Unit 2 with permanent ones identical to those in Unit | ==Dear iver.
