Purpose:

The purpose of this partially closed pre-application meeting between Arizona Public Service Company (APS, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the licensee's plans to submit a license amendment request (LAR) for Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3 (PVNGS) associated with the use of Framatome (AREVA) fuel.
