                            *his welding practice involved aking partis 1 veld saases without feeding veld material (wash pass). followed by strav or mist application of water to accelerate the cooling process and thereby facilitating slignment.                                                         It has been determined that on five welds this practice was definitely used. There is a possibility that this has occurred on up to thirty-five other Unit 1 and Unit 2 RFV safe end to RPY nossle welds.
