By letter dated Larv. 9, 1988, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) submitted an application for amendment requesting a change to Technical Specification 4.6.1.6.1.d to reduce the containment tendon design stresses to incorporate additional design margin not reflected in the values currently included in the Byron and Braidwood Technical Specifications. By letter dated May 31, 1990, Ceco requested withdrawal of the above application.

The Commission has filed the enclosed " Notice of Withdrawal of Application for Amendments to Facility Operating Licenses," granting the withdrawal, with.the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
