In accordance with our commitment for yearly leak 2ae surveillance, leakage data has been taken at LaSalle County Static, Unit 1.
Since LaSalle County Station Unit 1 has just completed the Startup program, the data is for the entire period of Startup.
Attached is a tabular summary of the leakage visually observed and estimated. Most of the observed leakage was due to packing leaks. All observed leaks were made known to the Operating Department through Work Requests for repair as necessary.
None of the leakage observed was significant from an operational or radiological viewpoint. The minor leakage that was determined, therefore, did not have any adverse impact on the safe operation of the plant, nor the health and safety of the public.
