This letter is in response to IE Bulletin No. 83-08, " Electrical Circuit Breakers with an Undervoltage Trip Feature in use in Safety-Related Applications other than the Reactor Trip System". Based on my staf f's conversation with Mr. D. Boyd, a request to extend the response date to April 6,1984 was granted.

Based on our review, we do not use the subject circuit breakers in safety-related applications other than the reactor trip system.
