Dear Mr. Eeppler:

This letter is in response to IE Bulletin No. 83-08, " Electrical Circuit Breakers with an Undervoltage Trip Feature in use in Safety-Related Applications other than the Reactor Trip System". Based on my staf f's conversation with Mr. D. Boyd, a request to extend the response date to April 6,1984 was granted.

Based on our review, we do not use the subject circuit breakers in safety-related applications other than the reactor trip system.

Therefore, this letter constitutes a negative declaration to the Bulletin.

We do not have a system for tracking man-hours on specific bulletinst therefore, we are unable to respond to your request regarding staff time spent in responding to this Bulletin.
