TROPICAL STORM JOSEPHINE UPDATE As of 5:00 a.m. October 8, 1996, Tropical Storm Josephine had lost most of its tropical characteristics and was located inland about 50 miles southeast of Savannah, GA. The storm should track northeastward with some acceleration up the east coast.
