* On February 6,1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency involving the control of< stamps used to identify Super Hilti Kwik Bolts (HKB). This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).             Our previous report was logged TXX-6122 dated December 1, 1986.
On February 6,1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency involving the control of< stamps used to identify Super Hilti Kwik Bolts (HKB). This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Ultrasonic testing has been completed on a random sample of supports in each of the cable tray, conduit and HVAC systems in Units I and II. A total of 360 supports were involved in the analysis. Quality engineering has completed examination of the results and has determined that three (3) cable tray supports had standud HKBs installed where the design drawings specified Super HXFm The standard HKBs were found to be stamped for identification indicating " Super" HKB.     Non-conformance reports have been issued for these supports documenting the installations concurrent.with the evaluation for possible adverse effects on plant safety.

A similar program of sampling, testing and evaluation is underway for electrical equipment and structural steel supports which were installed using HKBs. These actions and our evaluations are scheduled for completion on June
