This letter transmits the exercise evaluation report from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region III, dated September 10, 1986, for the Indian Point Nuclear Power Station exercise of June 4,1986.               FEMA has furnished a copy of this report to the State of New York.

The exercise report identifies deficiencies in six areas. As discussed in your {{letter dated|date=September 29, 1986|text=letter dated September 29, 1986}} and a letter from the State of New York dated October 1, 1986 to FEMA, scheduled dates have been proposed for closing the unresolved items.
