Application for Extension of U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

Special Nuclear Materials License SNM-1323 1.

Subject NRC license expires 31 October 1987.

2.

Request subject license be extended for a period of one year, until 31 October 1988.

3.

This request is made.to allow for the disposal of the Plutonium-238 (Pu-238) for which the subject license was issued, without the necessity of preparing a complete renewal application.

Disposal of the Pu-238 is scheduled to take place prior to 30 September 1988.

Once the Pu-238 has been properly disposed, a request will be submitted to terminate subject license.
