IP pipelines - SHUT OFF All natural gas before DECOMMISSIONING BEGINS! Its common sense and known by industry that one of the most guaranteed ways of causing a gas explosion is to excavate around live gas pipelines - and there are are 3 of them here - I believe 30, 36 and 42 inch gas pipelines
- the AIM pipeline - the Algonquin Incremental Market Pipeline. To my knowledge, there is no other nuclear site in the nation with natural gas pipelines traversing the location. To my knowledge, the gas traveling through these pipelines is headed to an LNG - liquified natural gas - port north to export overseas. Do you believe people are more important than profits? If so, please make sure the AIM and all natural gas is shut off before decommissioning begins!

We on the east coast are getting west coast forest fire particulates. Any airborne radioactive particles caused by decommissioning processes, excavation, explosion will contaminate the immediate area and travel. According to the World Nuclear Association, in their article, Nuclear Radiation & Health Effects, they state Radiation protection standards assume that any dose of radiation, no matter how small, involves a possible risk to Human Health. Children and women are more vulnerable than men yet have not been included in medical radiation studies.

A. For the workers B. For the people of the immediate vicinity, with an elementary school nearby C. For people of communities 25 -100 miles away (includes NYC) and beyond The proposed storage casks have been proven to be faulty at other sites - why use them at IP?
