Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this presubmittal meeting, between Arizona Public Service Company (APS) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss APS's planned requests in accordance with 10 CFR 20.1703, "Use of individual respiratory protection equipment," and 10 CFR 20.1705, "Application for use of higher assigned protection factors," to use supplied air suits at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1, 2, and 3.
