Dear Sir:

To conform with ANSI /ANS 15.18-1979 and our long standing practice, we are transmitting a proposed addition to our September,1982 approved UFTR Technical Specifications (Attachment I). The new section 6.6.3 "Other Special Reports" should follow Section 6.6.2 on Page 38 of the approved Tech Specs. This change is not an unreviewed safety question pursuant to 10CFR50.59 and will serve to increase the required reporting control.

The entire enclosure consists of

1. Three (3) signed originals and nineteen copies of this letter of transmittal.

2. 'penty-five copies of the proposed change to the approved UETR Technical Specifications.
