This refers to our telephone conversation of September 14, 1978, wlere you requested infomation on the number of units of exempt quantities of radioactive material you could possess without a license. 10 CFR Part 32.19 states that ten (10). exempt quantities as set forth in Part 30.71, could be sold or transferred in a single transaction, therefore, it follows that you may possess ten (10) exempt quantities of byproduct material at any one time.      I have enclosed a copy of 10 CFR 32 for your infomation.
