Human actions described in the SAR Defense-in-depth information in the SAR Level of information in the SAR for anticipated operational occurrences (AOOs), design basis events (DBEs), and beyond-design basis events (BDBEs) | |||
Regarding the first two issues (PRA and human action information to be included in the SAR), | |||
industry representatives described changes being considered to NEI 21-07, Revision 0 to address the NRC staffs underlying concern. Regarding the second two issues (defense-in-depth information in the SAR and level of information in the SAR for AOOs, DBEs, and BDBEs), | |||
industry was not proposing substantial changes to the guidance. The NRC staff stated that it would consider the information that industry provided during the meeting and decide if additional clarifications or changes to the NRC staffs proposed exceptions, clarifications, and additions table for these items was appropriate. | |||
Industry stated that it was targeting providing a draft revision to NEI 21-07, Revision 0 around December 8, 2021, to support a future public meeting to discuss the document.
