SUBJECT: EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-311/87-06(0L) | |||
On February 13, 1987, the NRC administered an examination to an employee of your | |||
company who had applied for a license to operate your Salem Unit 2 facility. | |||
The results of the examination are provided in the enclosed report. | |||
We are concerned that this individual did not adequately demonstrate sufficient | |||
understanding of the unique requirements of the Salem Unit 2 Technical Spec- | |||

ifications. In light of the fact that this individual has been licensed on | |||
Salem Unit 1, we are concerned that the training provided to this individual, | |||
and perhaps other licensed operators, may not adequately describe the differ- | |||
ences in the Technical Specifications for the two units. | |||
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commissions regulations, a copy of this | |||
letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room. | |||
