            Gentlemen:
            his letter is written in response to your letter of February 6,1987, which
            transmitted Inspection Report STN 50-482/86-33. As requested, the violation
             (482/8619-01) identified in the Inspection Report is being addressed in four
            parts.
                      (a) The reason for the violation if admitted;
                      (b)   We corrective steps which have been taken and the results
                            achieved;
                      (c) Corrective steps which will be taken to avoid further
                            violations; and
                      (d) The date when full conpliance will be achieved.
            We attachment contains Safeguards Information in accordance with 10 CFR
            73.21 and therefore should be withheld from public disclosure. his letter,
            when seperated from the attachment does not contain Safeguards Information
            and should be handled as decontrolled.
