i Carolina Power & Light Company hereby withdraws the request for license i amendment for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, dated '
~ June 24, 1987, regarding internal torus design temperature. The proposed
' amendment requested a change which raised the maximum internal temperature of -
the suppression chamber,.specified in Technical Specification 5.2.2.b, from 200*F to 220*F, which corresponds to the design temperature for components internal to the torus. The Company intends to re-evaluate the need for this
