REFERENCE:

Entergy Operations, Inc. letter CNRO-2005-00030 to the NRC dated June 20, 2005

Dear Sir or Madam:

In the referenced letter, Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) submitted to the NRC Request for Alternative RBS-PT-001 for use at River Bend Station. RBS-PT-001 proposed alternatives to the pressure testing requirements of ASME Section Xl.

After further discussions with the NRC staff, Entergy withdraws RBS-PT-001 from review. As a result of this action, the commitments previously identified in the referenced letter are canceled.

This letter contains no new commitments.
