I. SECY-1 3-0 0 64 - Exelon Generation Co., LLC (Limerick Generating Station, Units 1 and 2) Board's Referred Ruling in LBP 1 (Feb. 6, 2013)

The Commission approved a Memorandum and Order responding to the Board's referred ruling in LBP-13-1. The order takes review of the referred ruling, finds that the Board erred in interpreting the purpose of the Severe Accident Mitigation Alternatives

-analysis exception in 10 C.F.R. § 51.53(c)(3)(ii)(L), affirms the Board's denial of Natural Resources Defense Council's waiver petition, and directs the Staff to review and discuss in its final supplemental environmental impact statement any new Severe Accident Mitigation Alternatives

-related information associated with the Limerick license renewal application.
