On September 4,1986 we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency involving a broken cotter pin on a snubber. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
On September 4,1986 we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency involving a broken cotter pin on a snubber. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Specifically, a large bore pipe support for the Reactor Coolant System in the Unit I containment building had one broken cotter pin at the clamp end of the snubber on the top side of the load pin. We are continuing our evaluation submitting our next report by October 17, 1986.                                                       ,
