STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Final Report Concerning a Potential for Water Hamer in the Auxiliary Feedwater System Due to Back-Leakage of Steam On March 26, 1982, pursuant to 10CFR50.55(e), Houston Lighting and Power Company (HL&P) notified your office of an item regarding the potential for water hammer in the Auxiliary Feedwater System as a result of the back-leakage of steam. This item was identified as being potentially reportable. An evaluation has been perfonned which shows that this item does not meet the criteria of 10CFR50.55(e) and, therefore, is not reportable. Thus, this item is considered closed.
