Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 177 In accordance with 10CFR50.90 and 10CFR50.91 GPU Nuclear Corporation, operator l of the Oyster Creek Nuclear. Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No.:DPR-16,.requents a change to Appendix A of the license.

The purpose of TSCR No. 177-is to change the surveillance requirements of the Station Batteries.- It is proposed that Specification 4.7.B be changed to

, include a battery service test every refueling outage and, in addition, the

-frequency of the existing battery performance test be modified. j l

This change request-has been reviewed in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications. Pursuant to 10CFR50.91(b)(1), a copy of this change, request has been sent to the State of New Jersey Department'of l , Environmental Protection.
