Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station (PVNGS)
Units 1, 2, and 3 and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Docket Nos. 50-528, 50-529, 50-530 and 72-44 License Nos. NPF-41, NPF-51 and NPF-74 PVNGS Emergency Plan, Revision 61 Pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 50 Appendix E, Section V, Arizona Public Service Company (APS) Is forwarding a copy of the PVNGS Emergency Plan, Revision 61, effective May 15, 2018, and a summary of the 10 CFR 50.54(g) analysis for this plan revision. APS has evaluated the changes incorporated in this revision, and determined the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the emergency plan and the plan continues to comply with the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR 50.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b), copies are being forwarded to the NRC Region IV administrator and the resident inspector. No commitments are being made to the NRC by this letter. Should you have any question regarding this submittal, please contact me at (623) 393-6769.
