Herbert V. Weiss' Pu-238 heat source project, we will be unable to submit a renewal application that fulfills the intent of section 4.2 of reference (a).

This letter is to confirm NAVSEADETRASO's intent, per reference (b),
to request a 6-month extension of S NM -115 4 's expiration date.
3.
The revised renewal application will follow on a priority basis.
