In accordance with your correspondence dated January 8,1999, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License SNM-33 is hereby amended to allow the requested time extension to certain specified commitments in the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan. Accordingly, new Safeguards License Condition 3G-1.8 is being issued, effective immediately, and reads as follows:
SG-1.8          Notwithstanding the commitments, in Section 4.3.1 of the FNMC Plan identified in Condition SG-1,1, to perform receipt measurements and distribute DOE /NRC Form 741 within 30 days of receiving shipments of nuclear material, the licensee shall have until April 1,1999, to fulfill the above stated commitments relative to the seven UF, cylinders identified in its {{letter dated|date=January 8, 1999|text=letter dated January 8,1999}}. This Condition shall automatically expire on April 2,1999.
The deviation frorn Section 4.3.1 of your FNMC Plan was requested and approved pursuant to 10 CFR 70.34. The granting of your extension request was based on our determination that, in view of the specific circumstances, the additional time requested was justified and warranted.
All other conditions of this license shall remain the same.
Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-33 and the Safeguards Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion.
