States will be able to request copies of training manuals for courses that the TTD has developed or had developed by contractors. Manuals for commercially available courses listed in the TTD catalog will have to be obtained from the vendor.
Once the questionnaires have been returned, TTD will start reproduction and shipping of the manuals. It may require                        !
several months to reproduce and ship the manuals depending                      !
on the number required.

This was done with FRERP with good results. For guidance not published in the Endgral Reatster. FEMA's Strategic Review Steering Committee (SRSC) is studying how to obtain customer comments in the future. FEMA is putting SRSC meeting highlights on its Home Page for States to see status of discussions and provide comments.

Chaffee Action Taken:  Staff has reviewed the guidance on Preliminary Notifications (PNs) as contained in the NRC Inspection Manual (Manual Chapter 1120) and concluded _that no changes are needed. All PNs have a boilerplate statement, "This preliminary notification constitutes EARLY notice of events of POSSIBLE safety or public interest significance. The information is as initially received without verification or evaluation, and is basically all that is known by the Region staff on this date." Supplemental
