Dear Mr. Denton:

Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (" PSI") and Wabash Valley Power Association, Inc. ("WVPA") hereby submit Supplement Number 1 to their Application for Licenses to construct and operate the Marble Hill Nuclear Generating Station, Units 1 & 2. This supplement reflects changes to the Base Plant Final Safety Analysis Report ("FSAR")

which have been filed since the tendering of the Marble Hill FSAR. Filing of this Supplement at the present time will allow review of a more up-to-date Application for Licenses and will reduce the number of changes which otherwise would occur after Amendment Number 22 to the Application for Licenses is accepted.

Pursuant to 10 CFR Sections 50.30 (b) and 50.30 (c) (3), enclosed please find three (3) signed originals and fifteen (15) copies of Supplement Number 1. Upon receipt of notification of the acceptability of Amendment Number 22 to the Application for Licenses, the appropriate number of copies of the General Information portion of the Application for Licenses, the FSAR (including Supplement Number 1), and the Er.vironmental Report - Operating License Stage will be submitted pursuant to 10 CFR Sections 50.30 (b), (c) (1) and (c) (2).
