The final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) is being issued as part of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRCs) process to decide whether to issue a renewed operating license to Entergy Operations, Inc. for Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS). In the final SEIS, the NRC staff determined that the adverse environmental impacts of a renewed license for GGNS is not great enough to deny this option for energy planning decision-makers. In the context of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, NRC staff determined that no historic properties will be affected by the proposed action (license renewal).
