08-0117 Rev 0 50-245 DPR-21 Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.75(f)(1), Dominion Nuclear Connecticut, Inc. (DNC) submits the attached information on the status of decommissioning funding for Millstone Power Station (MPS) Unit 1. There have been no material changes to the trust agreements established for Nuclear decommissioning of MPS Unit 1 since the last submittal (letter Serial No. 07-0174 dated March 29, 2007). DNC letter Serial No. 05-318, dated October 21, 2005, notified NRC of disbursements for the annual costs for decommissioning activities and maintaining MPS Unit 1 in modified SAFSTOR of approximately four million dollars per year (in 2004 dollars) subject to 4.5 percent annual escalation over the period 2005 through 2010. The attached MPS Unit 1 decommissioning funding status remains consistent with these projected disbursements and continues to show adequate funds available to complete decommissioning activities planned.

MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNIT 1 DECOMMISSIONING FUNDING STATUS REPORT Serial No.

NLOSfTJS Docket No.

License No.

DNC letter Serial No.05-318, dated October 21, 2005, notified NRC of disbursements for the annual costs for decommissioning activities and maintaining MPS Unit 1 in modified SAFSTOR of approximately four million dollars per year (in 2004 dollars) subject to 4.5 percent annual escalation over the period 2005 through 2010. The attached MPS Unit 1 decommissioning funding status remains consistent with these projected disbursements and continues to show adequate funds available to complete decommissioning activities planned.

Should you have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Mr. David A. Sommers at (804) 273-2823.

Sincerely, A7/0d-
