SUMMARY

OF THE APRIL 10, 201 3 , PERRY PUBLIC MEETING On April 10, 201 3, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held a Public Meeting at the Quail Hollow Resort in Painesville , Ohio , to discuss the 201 2 annual assessment results for Perry. Enclosure 1 is a list of attendees for the meeting, and copies of the slides used by the NRC and the licensee during the meeting are located in ADAMS (ML13101A143 and ML13101A1 5 2).

The meeting was started with the NRC providing an overview of the reactor oversight program and the results of the 201 2 annual assessment for Perry. The NRC's presentation was followed by a presentation by the Perry plant staff giving the plant priorities for 2013, their overview of the improving performance at Perry, a status of the ongoing refueling outage, improvements to the radiological safety program, and readiness for the NRC 95002 supplemental inspection.

After t he business part of the meeting ended , the NRC and the licensee were available to answer questions from the public; none were asked.
