Sea Turtle Incidental Take Report 2014-3The attached report provides detailed information regarding the recent incidental take of a liveLoggerhead sea turtle at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (OCNGS) on July 3, 2014.The Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network Stranding Reports for the sea turtles whichwere incidentally taken at OCNGS on June 15 and June 16, 2014, (turtles 2014-1 and 2014-2,respectively),
were recently made available by the Marine Mammal Stranding Center and areincluded as enclosures to this letter. In addition, the necropsy results for turtle 2014-1 are alsoenclosed.

The animal was alive but lethargic when it was picked up by MMSC Staff, The turtlewas taken to MMSC for rehab. Once at MMSC the turtle was slightly more active and was able toswim easily on its own. It had several scars on its head, flippers and carapace along with numerousbarnacles and some algae growth. There were no noticable recent wounds.The animal was found dead in its pen early the following morning.
