Indian Point Energy Center Status Report February 15, 2006 Operational Status Indian Point Unit 2 is operating at 100% and has been online 55 days.

Indian Point Unit 3 is operating at 100% reactor power and has been on-line for 134 days. Operations and maintenance crews are making plans for 2R17 refueling outage at IP2 scheduled to begin in April.

IPEC Hosts Tritium Workshop Experts from around the industry met at Indian Point on Tuesday to discuss their investigations into tritium contamination. The workshop, hosted by members of the Indian Point tritium investigation team, drew participants '

from Salem, Brookhaven National Lab, Seabrook and L-Yankee Rowe.

The project managers and geologist shared lessons learned l regarding sampling protocols, laboratory analyses, and ground water modeling.

Educational Outreach Entergy Nuclear Northeast provides customized outreach Bill Axelson from Indian Point Entergyasks a question from one of the education programs for schools, youth groups, and civic industry experts who met to organizations. The topics we cover include Emergency discuss the technical detail of Planning, Understanding Radiation, Nuclear Fuel and a tritium investigations and general overview of the operations of Indian Point Energy exchange operating experience.
