In the referenced letter, the NRC provided its assessment of the activities of Southern California Edison (SCE) in response to the March 27, 2012 Confirmatory Action Letter (ML12087A323) and the two remaining open unresolved items identified in Augmented Inspection Team report 0500361/2012077 and 0500362/2012077 (ML12188A748).

Before making its final decision, the NRC is providing SCE the opportunity to (1) attend a Regulatory Conference to present SCE's perspective on the facts and assumptions the NRC used to arrive at the finding of the inspection report and assess its significance or (2) submit SCE's position on the finding of the inspection report to the NRC in writing.
