NRC I 6 E BULLETIN 79-18 AUDIBILITY PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED ON EVACUATION OF PERSONNEL FROM HIGH-NOISE AREAS
Dear Mr. Grier:
The following provides the response of the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Staff to the request for additional information contained in I 6 E Bulletin 79-13.
The responses are enumerated in the same order as the questions or required actions set forth in the request for additional information.
RESPONSE 1 1.
The review specified in item 1 has been completed.
Evaluation of the plant areas resulted in identification of 11 areas as having inadequate audible or visual alarm capabilities.
This evaluation was performed during full power operation which is considered the condition of maximum anticipated noise level.
