RE:

Florida Power Corporation Crystal River Unit 3 Nuclear Generating Plant Docket No. 50 '302

Dear Mr. DeYoung:

In response to a verbal request by Mr. Don Sells, Crystal River Unit 3 project leader, Environmental Projects, U.S. A.E.C., enclosed are 25 copies of the five issues of Florida Power Corporation's Environmental Status Reports.

As was indicated in our letter to you of April 26, 1972 this will essentially deplete our on-hand supply of these documents.

We hope they will aid your staff in your continuing review of the Crystal River Unit 3 Environmental Report and preparation of your environmental impact statement.

Also in our letter of April 26, 1972, we indicated our intent to respond to your Request For Additional Information, Environmental Impact Review, enclosed in your letter of April 10, 1972, on or about May 8,1972, as Amendment #19 to our Application for Licenses.

Due to the multiplicity of our efforts in responding to several A.E.C. Requests for Additional Information simultaneously we had to revise our schedule to allow sufficient time for quality responses. Our revised schedule is such that our response to your Request for Additional Information, Environmental Impact Review will be filed as Amendment #20 to our Application for Licenses on or about May 15, 1972.

If further discussion or clarification of the above is needed, please contact us.

Very truly yours, J. T. Rodgers
