Under separate cover, we are transmitting Amendment No. 42 to the Appli-cation for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1. This Amendment consists of Revision No. 25 to the Final Safety                                   l l
This Amendment consists of Revision No. 25 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR). Three (3) original and twenty-five (25) con-formed copies of the transmittal sheet are included together with sixty (60) copies of Revision 25 to the FSAR.

This revision consists primarily of minor changes and revisions re-sulting from recent discussions between the Applicant and the NRC staff in preparation for ACRS meetings. This revision also identifies the Reactor Protection System reactor coolant pressure instrumentation change which will be made to eliminate that instrumentation's setpoint drift problem.

Dear Mr. Rusche:

Under separate cover, we are transmitting Amendment No. 42 to the Appli-cation for Licenses for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
