As a resident in Northwestern Illinois and a Commonwealth Edison customer, I wish to express my concern over the

O licensing of the Byron Nuclear Facility. The NRC has been 7
far from candid with their estimation of the plants problems.
I would like to see a review of outstanding items on the NRC report.
__j I also feel that worker testimony should be given a fair hearing, J
especially when the adequacy at the NRC investigation is called g-into question.
If we are going to build it, lets have no doubts as to the safety and quality cf construction.
~h I would also urge a reevaluation of the Byron financial situation gg as well as the economic status of the Commonwealth Edison OO Company.
It appears that the Byron piant is being put on 1
line merely for the convenience of the utility.
