Dear Sir:

I am concerned about the licensing of the Byron Nuclear Power Sta-tion.

I would like to request a review of NRC outstanding items.

Employees of the contractors have stated that the quality assurance /

quality control programs were lacking in the beginning of the plant construction and re-inspections have been rushed.

Considering the list of over one hundred (100) items of non-compliance at Byron, Commonwealth Edison's safety record and the numerous fines they have paid in connection with the operation of their other plants, I respectfully request that the Board listen to the testimony of those workers who wish to speak.
