NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-369/99-02 AND

50-370/99-02

Dear Mr. Barron:

This refers to the inspection conducted between February 14,1999, and March 27,1999, at

McGuire Nuclear Station. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.

During the six-week period covered by this inspection, your conduct of activities at the McGuire

'

facility was generally characterized by safety-conscious operations, sound engineering and

i

maintenance practices, and careful radiological work controls.

Based on the results of this inspection, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has

determined that seven violations of NRC requirements occurred. These violations are being

treated as a Non-Cited Violations (NCVs), consistent with Appendix C of the Enforcement

Policy. The NCVs are described in the subject inspection report. If you contest the violation or

severity level of these NCVs, you should provide a response within 30 days of the date of this

,

inspection report, with the basis for your denial, to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN

Document Control Desk, Washington DC 20555-0001, with copies to the Regional

Administrator, Region ll, and the Director, Office of Enforcement, United States Nuclear
