During routine reviews of correspondence' submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, a point of clarification was identified relative to footnote to Unit 1 Technical Specifications 3.9.C as submitted in GPC's {{letter dated|date=April 2, 1981|text=April 2,1981, letter}}.                 The functional capability to provide for fuel pool cooling during loss of offsite power (LOSP) conditions is assured, a:: required by Unit 1 Technical Specifications 3.9.C, by the fuel pool cooling assist mode of the Residual Heat Removal (RHR) system.
