During routine reviews of correspondence' submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, a point of clarification was identified relative to footnote to Unit 1 Technical Specifications 3.9.C as submitted in GPC's April 2,1981, letter.
The functional capability to provide for fuel pool cooling during loss of offsite power (LOSP) conditions is assured, a:: required by Unit 1 Technical Specifications 3.9.C, by the fuel pool cooling assist mode of the Residual Heat Removal (RHR) system.
The RHR system is powered by the class 1E 4160 volt buses and is available following a LOSP event.
