DISCUSSION The request for extension of the ifcense is based on the manpower commitments associated with the present activities at the UF SPERT assembly facility and the delay in issuance of the updated version of the guide outlining the standard format for the renewal submittal. In April of 1987, UF was sent an updated version of the " Guide For The Preparation of Renewal Applications.For Universities and Research and Development Facilities." The staff believes that an extension will give UF ample time to complete the renewal package. Since the authorized activities remain the same, it is recommended that Condition 4 be revised to show a final extension as follows:.
