SUB,1ECT: NRC SAFETY ISSUES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - VERMONT YANKEE ATOMIC POWER STATION By letter dated May 30, 1986, you provided infomation for the NRC's Generic Issues Management Tracking Systems. This infomation and information on plant specific safety issues has been incorporated into the NRC's Safety Issues Management System (SIMS). This system will be used by the NRC to track the review, implementation, and verification of safety related modifications.

The Vermont Yankee plant data for SIMS is presented in the enclosures. We request that you review the enclosures and inform us of (1) significant issues that should be added (2) non-applicable issues that should be deleted, (3) either the date (month /

projected date (month / year) year) each issue was completed / implemented or the the issue will be completed.
