On August 8, 1989, HRC Region IV sponsored a meeting at the University of Texas (Arlington) of NRC manager 3 and senior utility executives representing each power reactor licensee in Region IV. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss general matters in five specific topic areas identified in the attached meeting agenda. Attendees at the meeting are shown on the attached attendance list.

i There were no plant specific issues discussed during this meeting and no decisions or conclusions were reached as a result of this meeting. However, the meeting was beneficial to the attendees in better understanding the processes, roles, and responsibilities of licensees and the NRC within the topic areas discussed.
