On August 11, 2021, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC ), Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) and Offi ce of Nuclear Regulatory Resea rch (RES), staff met with representatives from the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Electric Power Res earch Institute, licensees, and other members of the public. The meeting was held to discuss and provide additional clarification on submitted comments during the solicited public comment period, which clos ed on February 18, 2021 (86 FR 5267) in regard to the staff's proposed changes to Regulator y Guide 1.9, Revision 5, "Application and Testing of Safety-Related Diesel Generators in Nuclear Power Plants. | |||
The meeting followed an agenda provided by the NRC staff that p osted on July 29, 2021 meeting notice, found in Agencywide Document Access Management System (ADAMS) | |||
