Meeting with the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) to discuss the draft Regulatory Guide 1.9 Revision 5 Date(s) and Time(s): August 11, 2021, 01:30 PM to 04:00 PM ET Location: Webinar Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is for NEI to clarify comments submitted during the solicited public comment period for draft Regulatory Guide 1.9, Revision 5. The NRC staff notes that the public comment period closed on February 18, 2021 (86 FR 5267).
