- 12 public comment submissions, including Nuclear Energy Institute, ASME, NRC licensees, and private citizens

- Staff addressed all comments; the rulemaking package is under agency review

- Final rule expected August 2024

- Staff addressed all comments; the rulemaking package is under agency review

- Final rule expected January 2025

4 Significant Public Comments

• Code Case Regulatory Guides and Code of Record Interval Rule

- Include Code Case N-752-1 in RG 1.147

- Reevaluate Section XI Edition required for use of Code Case N-921

- Rules on use of later Code Editions (see 10 CFR 50.55a(f)(4)(iv) and (g)(4)(iv))

• 2021/2022 Editions Rule

- Remove condition requiring preservice examination of steam generator tubes

- Remove condition requiring pressure testing of repaired/replaced mechanical joints

- Reevaluate existing Section XI conditions related to Master Curve RT T0

- Remove condition on Code Case N-770 regarding inspection of optimized weld overlay locations
